What this site collects
The mailing-list form collects your email address, optional name, selected interests, and consent. The contact form collects your name, email address, topic, message, and consent.
Anonymous usage counts
This site also counts how its pages are used: page views, roughly how long a page stays open, how far down a page is read, and clicks on key links. These are anonymous tallies — no cookies, no advertising identifiers, and nothing that singles out an individual visitor. If your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, this site honors it and counts nothing at all. The counts stay on the website’s own infrastructure and are never shared with third-party analytics services.
How SOS PW uses it
Mailing-list information is used to send SOS PW communications and understand broad areas of community interest. Contact-form information is used to review and respond to your message.
Internal team workspace
SOS PW volunteers coordinate campaign work in a private workspace at work.sospw.org. Members sign in with personal links rather than a shared password. It stores the names, contact details, and skill areas that team members add about themselves, along with the tasks and notes they write and the working records the team keeps about its campaign outreach — who it has spoken with and what was discussed. Mailing-list signups also appear there as supporter records so the team can keep its outreach organized. That information is visible only to signed-in team members, and every change is attributed by name inside the workspace. The workspace uses one cookie to keep each member signed in through their personal link; it exists only on the workspace subdomain — the public site remains cookie-free — and none of the anonymous usage counting described above runs there.
External petitioner / plaintiff intake
The petitioner / plaintiff intake opens an external Google Form. Information entered there is not stored by sospw.org. Submitting the form does not create an attorney-client relationship.
What SOS PW does not do
SOS PW does not sell information submitted through this site. Please do not use these forms for privileged material, confidential legal strategy, financial account details, health information, or other sensitive personal data.
Storage and requests
Submissions are stored with the website’s hosting infrastructure. Reasonable safeguards will be used, but no internet service can promise absolute security. To ask about, correct, or remove a submission, use the contact form and select “Something else.”
A developing organization
SOS PW is still forming. This notice will be updated as its legal structure, communications providers, and operating practices become final.
